Look beyond the overall view
The collage above brings together architecture, development, equipment, terrain and museum work. Use the filters to compare projects of a similar type, then open a project to see its available photographs and documented brief. A model’s finish is only one part of the decision: its size, scale and features should serve the people who will gather around it.
Compare the movable buildings in the Buena Vista proposal with the lighted Ko Olina model. One supported a changing arrangement during an interview; the other let a salesperson select units by type and outlook. The photographs show different solutions to different presentation needs.
For terrain, look at how landforms relate to roads and buildings. For equipment, look for cutaways or removable sections that show otherwise hidden parts. The project index provides another way into the portfolio, and the planning guides explain how to choose the approach for your own display.
