Who builds courtroom scale models?
Archetype3D builds physical litigation and courtroom models in Denver, Colorado, for attorneys and expert witnesses nationwide.

Archetype3D builds physical scale models of sites, buildings, equipment and mechanical systems for trials, depositions and mediation. A physical model gives judges, juries and opposing counsel one shared, scaled view of a scene or system that drawings and photographs may not convey as clearly.
Discuss a projectAccident and incident sites. Roads, intersections, worksites and buildings, with sightlines, distances and positions shown at a chosen scale.
Construction and building conditions. Cutaway models can reveal structure, drainage, framing or systems behind finished walls.
Mechanical systems. Working or cutaway models can show how parts move and their spatial relationships.
Property and terrain. Grades, drainage, property lines and the relationship between neighboring structures.
The hero and project photos show related physical modeling work, not courtroom matters or litigation engagements. The project links below provide each model’s published details.
Litigation models can be developed from survey data, plans, photographs, measurements and input from an expert team. We agree on scale, source material and level of detail before fabrication. The same shop methods used for our engineering and terrain models carry over to courtroom model making.
Models can be sized for a courtroom table or easel, built with removable or hinged sections for step-by-step explanation, and packed for travel to court, mediation and deposition locations. Share timing needs early so we can discuss the work and schedule.
Like all our work, litigation models receive a fixed-cost proposal based on shop time, at about $5,000 per week. Simple site models can take about a week; detailed working or cutaway models take longer. These are active shop-time estimates; reviews and case coordination affect calendar timing.
