Planning a project
Share the course plan, survey or elevation data you have, the area the model needs to show, and where it will be displayed. We’ll help you decide on scale, detail and finish.
See our guide to golf course models for golf communities.
Terrain, course and community
A golf model can focus on the playing route or show the course within a wider development. Cornerstone brings terrain, holes and layout together. Marcella Club combines the golf course with roads, lot lines and amenities, with north and south sections showing the current design and future development areas.
For City Park, we combined drone-collected elevation data with satellite imagery and course information. That source material brings the contours and course layout into the same physical view. The scale must make the land legible while leaving room for the features visitors need to recognize.
Before choosing a size, decide whether the model needs to explain the course itself, surrounding homes or both. Share the extent of the site, available terrain data and proposed display location. A broader development view and a close course view serve different questions; the golf-community guide explains how to plan that choice.
What it costs
Archetype3D prices every model by shop time, at about $5,000 per week, with a fixed-cost proposal for each project. Models range from about $5,000 for a simple study model to $150,000 for a large, complex multi-building development. For golf course models, the main cost drivers are terrain detail, course features and surrounding development. See what a custom scale model costs.
