Detailed Architectural Models: Used to create sales or for clearly defining a project. These models can demonstrate all design aspects.  Colors will be specifically mixed and applied onto appropriately textured surfaces. All architectural features will be shown, such as railing details or deck patterns. Lighting and electronics can be added to set the mood or show movement..

Semi-detailed Architectural models: Scale and budget don’t always allow for a fully detailed model. Semi-detailed models show all architectural forms, but perhaps not all of the textures or colors. Windows may be opaque instead of clear, and forms may be simplified. These models are used in many sales centers and are very successful marketing tools. We will work with you to clearly define the model and how it is to be represented.

Mass Models: These show the basic architectural forms and are usually painted one or two colors. Mass models are often used for design review committees looking to see relative heights and masses of buildings. Mass model are used on detailed Architectural models to show Secondary or unrelated buildings on the site.

Prototypes: Usually built in full scale, prototypes are used by industrial designers and inventors to show the form, fit, and often the function of their device. The types of materials and finishes vary greatly but like any other model, prototypes are used to sell an idea or explain the use and benefits of a new product.
